	Part of Sabin Aell's Jewelry Design Collection is displayed and for sale at Mona Lucero's Boutique, 2544 15th St, Denver, CO. I love to work with unusual, strange and found material like rubber bands, inner tubes, electrical parts, antique cloth wire, things you find and you don't even know what it is or was - and combine it with silver/gold components, Swarovsky crystals, beads, stones, pendants, etc. I think of jewelry as a miniature sculpture, playing with dresses, skin tones, brown, red and blond hair - wearable art, like fashion - being intrigued with highly contrasting material - searching - always on the hunt for the ultimate piece of a perfect match. For me it is a challenge specially with necklaces, to find the sweet spot between chaos and order, wild and tame, hard and soft. In that spot lies the powerful creative force of things falling into place - self organization. This is the approach I weave into each piece to add the inner glow and sparkly shine.
